TAWAU: Health services offered in Malaysia have been ranked the third-best in the world by International Living magazine due to easy access to medical services, said Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya. "Our health services reach people everywhere as we have the 1Malaysia clinics, rural clinics and 200 mobile clinics across the country," said Dr Hilmi. He added that the Government provided clinics on boats and helicopters to reach areas not linked by roads. "We have continuously strived to make our service available to patients in all places in the country," said Dr Hilmi after launching the new 32-slice CT Scan machine at Tawau Hospital here on Monday. On the new machine, Dr Hilmi said that he hoped that residents of Tawau and the surrounding areas would benefit from the upgraded machine.
