Compiled by C. ARUNO and MEI MEI CHUMALAYSIAN singer and songwriter Wang Zihui (pic) stunned judges of Chinese talent show The Coming One with her powerful voice and was awarded five stars, reported Sin Chew Daily. This was despite complaints by some of the judges that she was mumbling when performing I Don’t Understand, You Don’t Understand, a reggae song she wrote herself. But Singaporean singer Stephanie Sun, who was one of the judges, defended Wang, saying that “this is part of the Malaysian accent”. Wang’s talent was praised, with five out of the six judges awarding her with a star. The 21-year-old singer revealed that she gave up her job recently to pursue a career in music.
