KLANG: Malaysian Devasuria Subramaniam, who appeared in a video that went viral on social media showing her crying and begging for help after being allegedly abused by her mother-in-law, is relieved to be able to return home from Tamilnadu, India. She said her relationship with her husband had also waned after their return to India. Because he had stayed illegally in Malaysia, Muralidas is barred from entering Malaysia for five years. “You cannot live here like how you lead your life in Malaysia,’’ said Muralidas, adding the whole affair tarnished his family’s image. Devasuria’s plight came to light after a video clip of her crying and begging for help went viral on social media.
