In a statement issued on Saturday, the embassy urged Malaysians in Qatar to obtain information only from verified sources, including official announcements by the Qatari authorities and the Malaysian Embassy. Qatari authorities have also issued a notice advising everyone to remain indoors and take precautionary measures. “In this regard, all Malaysians in Qatar are advised not to remain outdoors, to exercise caution and to continue monitoring current developments.
