NANNING: Malaysia will be setting up its first overseas university campus in China. Malaysia-China Qinzhou Industrial Park deputy board chairman Datuk Beh Hang Kong revealed that the campus would be located with the industrial park vicinity, but declined to reveal the name of the university involved. "We will sign a memorandum of cooperation with a private higher learning institution to set up its overseas branch in China. The plan came into being after the historical opening of China's first overseas university campus in Malaysia. The Xiamen University Malaysia, which was opened last year, has an enrolment of about 2,000 students currently.
