"The upgauging affirms our operations to Hong Kong in the long term and allows us to increase our capacity by 80%. Also, subject to passenger demand, we will consider adding a second Kuala Lumpur-Hong Kong service upgrade," said Bellew. Malaysia Airlines flies three times daily to Hong Kong and the route is currently serviced by the B737-800.
