United Democratic Alliance (UDA) secretary general Cleophas Malala has defended the party over what has been termed by critics as early 2027 campaigns. Speaking on Friday, Malala insisted that UDA is a political party whose core mandate is engaging in political activities. "UDA party is not a corporate organisation, it's a political party. That is our core business as a political party," Malala added. The party, according to Malala, intends to have at least 15 million registered members by the next election cycle, 2027.
