MALABON City Mayor Antolin “Lenlen” Oreta 3rd on Tuesday tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) after he underwent a swab test as part of contact tracing. “The swab test result just came out today (Tuesday) and it showed I am positive for Covid-19,” said the mayor on his Facebook page. “There were many who attended the opening and maybe one of them was already Covid-19 positive,” Padua said. The Malabon mayor reminded his constituents that Covid-19 remains a high threat to their health, hence, strict adherence to the minimum safety protocols must continue. “On behalf of the city, we would continue to ensure that we bring down the cases of Covid-19 here in Malabon,” Oreta said.
