Barry Moses, of Wolcott Construction, operates an asphalt roller on the new asphalt on North Main Street in Laconia. The paving contractor, Wolcott Construction of Gilmanton, is expediting the job so that the new road surface will be ready for NH Pumpkin Fest, which starts on Friday evening. The paving being done Tuesday was on North Main Street between Oak Street and Lexington Drive. Ultimately, Court Street will be improved from its intersection with Main Street to the Belmont town line.
