If there’s one organisation that is taken for granted beyond measure, it’s the Indian Army. On Tuesday, an ambulance got stranded at the Nastachung Pass after an avalanche. The ambulance was carrying 15-year-old boy who needed post-operative recovery and a pregnant lady. The team not only cleared the way for the ambulance to return to Tangdhar but also provided medical relief and care to the patients. And it’s sad, that despite such actions from the army, they continue to face such hostility from the locals.
