Most Ontarians are concerned about Canada’s COVID-19 vaccination rates compared with other countries, a new poll suggests. The Campaign Research survey for the Toronto Star found 51 per cent of respondents give this country “poor” marks for its rollout of vaccines. “These are terrible numbers for the federal government, which is responsible for vaccine procurement,” Campaign Research principal Nick Kouvalis said Monday. That includes 44 million doses from Moderna, 40 million from Pfizer-BioNTech, 23.9 million AstraZeneca, and at least 10 million from Johnson & Johnson. Only nine per cent said they “definitely do not want the vaccine” and four per cent didn’t know.
