Delivering a statement in Parliament on Tuesday, Ayariga said, "Ghanaians do not forget. “I am wearing white to join the NPP in the chamber to celebrate, because the Bawumia that I know, the NDC will beat him any day,” Ayariga said. Arthur Kennedy urges Ghanaians to give Bawumia a chanceDr Bawumia secured 56.48% of the votes in the NPP presidential primaries held on January 31, 2026, with a total of 110,645 votes cast. His closest contender, Kennedy Agyapong, received 46,554 votes, representing 42.08% of the total votes.
