ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Oxygen Limited, a leading supplier of oxygen across the country, has issued a force majeure notices to hospitals as major hospitals about the increasing demand the company is unable to meet increasing demand. In a letter sent to major hospitals, Pakistan Oxygen has stated that the gap between demand and supply of oxygen is widening beyond the control of the company despite running its three oxygen plants on full capacity. POL has requested the hospitals to make alternate arrangements for procuring oxygen from other sources from here onwards till further notice. POL has mentioned that it will not be liable for any circumstances on account of its inability to meet any demand for supply of oxygen to the hospitals. “This is the situation beyond our control, to which we are responding to the best of our ability and capacity.
