Mainland China 'unhappy' with tourist safety in Taiwan: officialMainland China is "extremely dissatisfied" with Taiwan's safety measures for visiting mainland tourists, an official said Thursday, following the death of 26 people in a tour bus fire in Taoyuan. The government has already coordinated on site volunteers, accommodation, transportation, counseling and briefing sessions for the family members, stated the MAC. "We will proceed with empathy for the family members and provide the utmost in terms of assistance," said the premier. Family members of the deceased along with local officials arrived and were taken to the shrine by Taiwanese officials. He led the Cabinet in a minute of silence before its weekly meeting on Thursday morning to remember the 24 mainland tourists and two Taiwanese who died in the blaze.
