There’s a different look to the Blue Jays mailbag this week as Toronto general manager Ross Atkins volunteered to step in for yours truly and answer questions from fans. It’s difficult to use the full benefit of hindsight as we don’t yet know exactly what’s in the cards for the 2020 season. It’s unfortunate the 2020 season is impacted, but none of the moves we made were with a single season in mind. The changes to the 2020 season will certainly force us to be creative in how we on-ramp and use our pitchers across the organization. Speaking generally, there are sometimes opportunities to build additional innings for pitchers after the dust has settled on the 2020 season.
