To the Mailbag:QUESTION: What do you think NHL will do with regards to issue of injuries? I was thinking for the NHL playoffs that they should do a 1-16 seed like the NBA does with their playoffs. And those points may point to a likely outcome: Only the teams with a real chance will be invited to finish the season and play playoffs. I actually have one that sounds flippant, but I mean sincerely: I think some players will perform differently without crowds. So it seems like NHL players got paid, meanwhile NBA had their paycheques reduced be 25 per cent.
