Parcels sent to her from overseas were intercepted in late 2018, and a Ministry for Primary Industries search warrant on her home uncovered seeds which are “entry prohibited" in Aotearoa. Panek-Old was handed a $4000 fine at her sentencing at the Hamilton District Court on Tuesday morning, and must pay court costs.
