A group raising money for a children’s hospice in Maidenhead have celebrated a major milestone in their fundraising efforts. The Maidenhead Fundraising Group for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service has raised a collective £500,000 through its work over the years. Helen Johnson, lead of the Alexander Devine Maidenhead Fundraising Group and chair of trustees, said: “Reaching £500,000 in funds raised is an incredible milestone for our small but dedicated team of volunteers, and it’s something we are immensely proud of. “Your kindness is making a significant difference in providing vital care and support to local babies, children, young people and their families.”The Alexander Devine Maidenhead Fundraising Group continues to welcome new supporters and volunteers who would like to take part in future fundraising initiatives.
