6 hours agoTravellers along the Mai Mahiu Narok route are stranded again for the second time this weekend as the highway is covered with flood water and silt. This was the situation there earlier today, people travelling in opposite directions stranded from both sides. More than ten vehicles have swept away in the sporadic flooding that has been going on since Friday. Residents are now calling for an elevated road or a permanent solution to the floods and faults that persistently render the road impassable.
