Ottawa: A shocking case of the demolition of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's statue in Toronto has come to light. The incident took place at the Vishnu Temple in Toronto's Richmond Hill. Gandhi Ji’s statue vandalised at Vishnu Mandir in Richmond Hill, Ontario. York Regional Police spokeswoman Amy Boudreau confirmed the incident, saying the objectionable words were used to malign the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. He said he has lived so peacefully here in Richmond Hill for so many years, but nothing of the sort has ever happened.
