KUALA LUMPUR: Some folks on Twitter seemed to have agreed that it was time for US president Donald Trump to quit. This, in echoing the recent "advice" given by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that Trump should resign. Scott Dworkin, co-founder of @TheDemCoalition, with some 580,000 followers on Twitter, today posted: "BREAKING: Malaysia's Prime Minister says Donald Trump should resign: "I asked him to resign to save America." The premier briefly told reporters, "Resign", when reporters asked him if he had any advice for Trump. The statement read that, "We are disappointed by Prime Minister Mahathir's comments regarding President Trump.
