The Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency of the Ashanti Region explained that “there was nothing new in what the president presented. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said important issues affecting Ghanaians such as corruption, economic policies and unemployment were missing in the President’s highlights. The MP said most of the loans that the NDC government secured have found themselves into private pockets and this is what the ordinary Ghanaian would want to hear how President Mahama would fight it instead of the “phantom promises”.
