Nana Agyeman, who is also the acting President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs, said President Mahama had done a lot to deserve a second term. The Omanhene appealed to the President to construct a sea defence wall along the coast line of Dixcove to protect the people from the increasing threat of coastal erosion and flooding. President respondsResponding to the Omanhene's request, President Mahama promised that contractors working on the Aboadze sea defence project would be engaged to work on a coastal defence project at Dixcove beginning next year. President Mahama said by 2021, Ghana would achieve 100 per cent water coverage.
