GEORGE TOWN: Mah Sing Foundation today pledged RM500,000 in aid to thousands of flood victims in the state. The recent major flood has prompted Mah Sing Group to immediately gather their resources and respond to the needs of the victims. So far, some 100 families in Bukit Mertajam received cleaning supplies and household items such as mattresses. "As such, Mah Sing Foundation is pledging RM500,000 to give immediate aid to those affected. The Mah Sing team spent a whole day packing gloves, pails, mops, cleaning hoses, brooms, cleaning detergents, garbage bags and also household items such as mattresses, pillows bedsheets and blankets.
