Tanzania is set to receive the first batch of tourists since the onset of the coronavirus crisis. Tanzanian President John Magufuli has declared that the fight against coronavirus has been won, and the country should return back to normalcy if the number of infectious continues to remain low. Dar es Salaam only has 132 cases, Arusha has 11, Mwanza six patients while Dodoma only had two down from 40 confirmed cases. Kenya currently has over 1,300 confirmed coronavirus cases, while Uganda has 212. Kenyan health officials have said that the number of coronavirus cases is expected to peak in August and September if current prevention measures continue to be implemented.
