A video that went viral on social media captured Prof Magoha questioning ministry employees after he established that many of their colleagues had not reported to work. In the office he had visited, the ministry official who was taking Prof Magoha around had a difficult time explaining why the occupant of that office was yet to report to work. But a visibly irritated Prof Magoha cut him short: “Unafikiri itanibadilisha kichwa (you think that will change my mind),” he said, laughing. When he gave his first press briefing on Thursday, Prof Magoha warned lazy employees at the ministry and in the education sector in general that they would face the sack.
