MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.5 earthquake jolted Davao Occidental in the early hours of Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. The earthquake struck at 2:45 a.m. at 141 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. ADVERTISEMENTThe tremor was of tectonic origin, and had a 52-kilometer depth of focus.
