A magnitude 3.9 earthquake was reported Tuesday at 6:33 a.m. 11 miles from Soledad, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The earthquake occurred 17 miles from Hollister, 18 miles from Greenfield, 21 miles from Salinas and 24 miles from Prunedale.
