Police in Grand Rapids, Michigan, arrested a woman mid-interview with ABC affiliate WZZM, after she participated in a protest in response to the U.S. attack in Venezuela. As she finishes, two uniformed officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department approach Plichta. Surprised, she puts her hands above her head as she drops the microphone she’d been wearing for the interview. “Patrol officers consulted with their sergeant and the watch commander who informed the officers that if the individuals could be located, they were subject to arrest. The adult woman who was arrested was positively identified by officers, and the lawful arrest was made."
