Tirunelveli had 21 fresh cases on Wednesday that took the district’s tally to 14,313, with 174 active cases. Theni registered 19 fresh cases, with which its case tally touched 16,299. Tenkasi has 60 active cases after the admission of 17 new COVID-19 cases, which took the district’s tally to 7,868. Virudhunagar too reported 15 fresh cases, which took the total number of cases up to 15,506. Hospitals in the district discharged six people.
