Belgian captain Eden Hazard has been unveiled as a player of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. The club have not yet confirmed what squad number he will be allocated for the new season, despite reports on social media of the club shop selling ‘Hazard 7’ shirts — the number currently occupied at the club by Mariano Diaz. Manager Zinedine Zidane has already spent over €250m on new players so far, ahead of the 2019-20 season, with Hazard joined by Serbian international Luka Jovic, Brazilian pair Eder Miltao and Rodrygo. Hazard enjoyed a warm welcome from his new fans, who packed into the Santiago Bernabéu as the Europa League final Man-of-the-Match donned the white kit for the first time. Hala Madrid!
