The Yelp review isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison to a Madden rating. As the ratings have become more scientifically calculated and realistic, players have begun to put more stock in their numbers. While Madden ratings aren’t exactly on par with a Yelp review, yes, they are THAT important to today’s players.
