ORONO, Maine — Josh Mack rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, Chris Ferguson passed for 192 and another score but defence aided Maine’s 23-6 defeat of William & Mary on Saturday for a third-straight win. William & Mary (2-6, 0-5) was held to 199 yards of offence and a field goal in each half. Brandon Briggs kicked field goals of 19 and 43 yards as the Black Bears rallied to a 6-0 lead. Ferguson found Drew Belcher with a 9-yard TD pass and a 13-3 halftime lead. Mack pushed the lead to 20-6 with a 2-yard score early in the fourth quarter and Briggs capped the scoring with a 23-yard field goal.
