Machinery companies merge on new Hornby siteSUPPLIED The new site of AB Equipment and NZ Trucks in Brydone Rd, South Hornby, Christchurch. Two companies with long histories in Christchurch, AB Equipment and NZ Trucks, have merged and moved to a new 30,000 square metre purpose-built site in Brydone Rd, south Hornby. Together they make up one of the largest single sites for commercial machinery and truck sales, service and support in New Zealand. AB Equipment employs about 40 staff at the new Christchurch branch working on diagnostic technical servicing of equipment. After the relocation, the former site of AB Equipment was leased but the former premises of NZ Trucks at 421 Blenheim Rd is being advertised by Knight Frank.
