Machakos County has dispelled fears of a possible Covid-19 case. Through the County Executive for health Ancent Kituku, the county said it is yet to confirm any positive case of the virus. This came a few hours after Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that one of the new patients hailed from Machakos county. "Out of the new 14 cases, seven are from Nairobi, two from Mombasa, two from Mandera while Machakos, Kisii and Kiambu had one case each". But Kituku said the case might have been a patient who hails from Machakos county who was quarantine elsewhere but not within the county.
