KUALA LUMPUR: Labuan and Macau are working hand in hand to boost private investments as well as deepen commercial ties, and these initiatives points to the possibility of 'sister cities' in the making. “We strive to promote Labuan and Macau to become sister cities. This should realise an appropriate diversification of industrial development for Macau,” he said in a private meeting between the governments of Macau and Labuan. Sang said Macau and Labuan island will jointly promote the development of the South China Sea Blue Plan. “Other than Labuan and Macau, the Greater China , Hong Kong and Macau will be part of this new initiative,” he added.
