The Security Information Center of the Ministry of Interior announced the death of a citizen and the injury of 3 members of his family in a blast in Maadi. As the doorman of building number 14/5 on Algeria street was cleaning the garden of the building, he found a metal object that exploded when he checked it, killing him and injuring his wife and two children with shrapnels. The victims were all transferred to hospital, according to the statement. A security cordon was imposed around the area of the incident and authorities took over investigation.
