They were all dressed in white sleeveless dresses that stopped just below the knees, red high heels, slim red belts around their waists, silver hoops on their ears, a matching chain on their necks, and two silver bangles each on their left wrists. To finish off the look were bright red pouty lips and identical blond curly braids held in high ponytails. Talking of high heels, I recently attended a burial in Murang’a County. Another example would be the not-so-cheap themed and colour-specific baby and bridal showers we are nowadays holding for our friends and relatives. I could go on and on, but allow me to stop here just in case I am accused of “hating”.
