Reigning league MVP Patrick Mahomes was ruled out of Thursday night's game in Denver by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second quarter with what's believed to be a significant right knee injury. Mahomes, who'd completed 10 of his first 11 passes including a 21-yard touchdown to rookie Mecole Hardman, was replaced by veteran Matt Moore late in the second quarter with a 10-6 lead. The Chiefs then tacked on a 20-yard field goal and a five-yard Reggie Ragland fumble return touchdown and lead by 10 at halftime. The 4-2 Chiefs are attempting to snap a two-game losing skid but now have much bigger concerns than tonight's outcome. Visit ProFootballWeekly.com | View Latest E-Edition
