Addressing a press briefing on Wednesday in Accra, the President of the SWAG, Mr Kwabena Yeboah said 27 sportsmen and sportswomen as well as sports administrators will be honoured for their performances during the year 2019 at the MTN SWAG Awards. "In consonance with what has become ritualistic for us, as an association, SWAG will on May 23, 2020 honour the nation's most distinguished sportsmen and women who tilted thescale in 2019," he said. "I feel elated to stress that this will be the 45th consecutive year SWAG shall be fulfilling this obligation to our tireless sportsmen and women. Need I emphasize yet again that this is Ghana's longest-running awards ceremony honoured over 45 unbroken years.
