KUALA LUMPUR: MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd has appointed executive director Datuk Khairil Anuar Aziz as group chief executive officer (CEO), more than a year after the departure of its former president and CEO. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said Khairil will resign with immediate effect from his position as executive director to take up his new position. Meanwhile, in a separate filing, MSM said Mohd Shaffie Said, who was made acting CEO in April last year, has been appointed as group chief operating officer. The appointments, MSM said was "in line with the company's recent organisational restructuring exercise which involves streamlining certain key positions in the company with the intention to strengthen governance of MSM Group.”
