A southbound train of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) suffered an electrical failure early morning Monday that resulted in the offloading of 850 passengers at the Guadalupe station in Makati City. According to an advisory, the MRT-3 train suffered an “electrical failure in the motor” at 6:23 a.m.ADVERTISEMENTMRT-3 said a possible cause was “worn-out electrical sub-components.”Affected passengers were serviced by another train that came nine minutes later.
