MRT-3 glitches thrice Tuesday morningThe Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) encountered about three glitches Tuesday morning and was forced to temporarily operate on a provisional status, management said in an advisory. According to its website, an MRT-3 northbound train first encountered a technical problem at 5:01 a.m. forcing provisional operations from North EDSA station to Shaw station and vice versa. After the glitch was fixed, normal operations resumed at 5:22 a.m. Normal operations resumed at 7:30 a.m.At 9:38 am, a train had to unloaded passengers at Santolan station due to yet another technical problem. However, at 5:39 a.m., a train encountered another technical problem and implemented yet again provisional operations from North EDSA station to Shaw and vice versa.
