KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Rabita Committee on Tuesday sent a notice to former party leader Dr Farooq Sattar over illegal use of the party’s name, electoral symbol and flag. A party spokesperson said that Sattar has been using his party’s name to “seek attention”. Earlier, on 13th September last year, Sattar resigned as a member of the party’s Rabita Committee. He sent his resignation to party’s convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. Later, a party meeting, held at the Bahadurabad office of the MQM-P, accepted Sattar’s resignation before issuing him a notice over alleged violation of discipline.
