The National Assembly yesterday shelved the debate on the controversy surrounding the appointment of Mwende Mwinzi to Seoul, South Korea ignoring its conditioned approval. This came even as Members of Parliament called for the sacking of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ambassador Raychelle Omamo and action taken against her for being in breach of the law and abuse of office. “The CS should be censured and action taken against her for abuse of law and abuse of office. I want to tell Parliament and the people of Kenya that the decisions of this House are not in vain. Parliament won the court case against Mwinzi,” said Ole Kenta, in reference to Kimunya’s plea to get a conclusive report from Omamo and Attorney General Kihara Kariuki.
