MPs will this morning question Foreign Affairs CS Monica Juma on the diplomatic row between Kenya and Somalia. Read: Kenya summons Somalia envoy, declares neighbour enemy stateOn Sunday, Somalia said it was not offering oil and gas blocs in the disputed waters for auction. Sources said it took the intervention of Juma and State House for Somalia to cool down and downplay the spat. Former Foreign minister Moses Wetang’ula yesterday said Kenya and Somalia signed an agreement that placed the disputed Indian Ocean waters in Kenyan territory. He served as Foreign minister between 2008 and 2010 and again from 2011 to 2012.
