(MPTC) is intensifying its operations this week as it prepares for higher traffic volume in its expressways. “Our team is always available to readily assist our motorists and efficiently manage the traffic flow on our expressways,” Franco said. From March 28 up to April 5, MPTC’s traffic operations teams will be on heightened alert and will deploy additional personnel to closely monitor traffic conditions at the toll plazas and interchanges. Aside from its intensified customer-facing services, MPTC said it has also made improvements in its RFID system to help shorten the travel time of motorists especially during this Holy Week break. There are many ways to reload the RFID and motorists may choose the option that suits them best, be it online or over-the-counter,” he said.
