The Manila Police District (MPD) has tightened its security around the vicinity of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the annual bar examinations start on Sunday, a police official said Saturday. Edwin Margarejo said 700 policemen would be deployed around the university’s premises in all Sundays of November to ensure safety of every participant as well as to provide security in the area.
