The anti-drug operations of the Manila Police District (MPD) across the city on Wednesday night has resulted in the death of twenty six (26) drug suspects. "Initial lang po itong 26 na nasa record ko (this is just the initial number in my record)," he said in an interview. MPD launched a total of 18 operations overnight. Only the MPD Stations 1 and 7 in Tondo did not conduct operations. Margarejo added, the number of fatalities poses a difficult challenge to the investigations being done by the MPD's Homicide Section and Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO).
