Nyando MP Fred Outa on Saturday found himself in a tight corner when he attended a funeral service of a former Nyando MP Miruka Owour in Nyando Division, Kisumu county. His bodyguards were forced to fire in the air to scare away some rowdy youth who had vowed to rough him up during the funeral service. Mr Outa and Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyong'o during the funeral were accused of rigging themselves in during the ODM party primaries. Apparently the locals are yet to move on from heated up debate on alleged favouritism in the party nominations. The MP is eying the Kisumu County senatorial seat while Senator Nyong'o wants to unseat Governor Jack Ranguma in the August elections
